Basic concepts and tools about OSINT, HumINT and SOCMINT.

There are several intelligence gathering disciplines, we use more frequently these ones:

• HUMINT: Human intelligence are gathered from a person in the location in question.
• OSINT: Open-source intelligence is intelligence collected from publicly available sources. In this case, the term “open” refers to overt, publicly available sources; it is not related to open-source software or public intelligence.
• SOCMINT: Social Media intelligence is an intelligence discipline built upon tools and solutions for social networks monitoring.
